Product Care

As with any bar of soap, handmade soaps last longer if they are allowed to dry between uses. We recommend using a soap dish which provides appropriate drainage or hang them to dry in a soap mesh bag.

Please never allow your bars to sit in water as this will shorten their life significantly.

Unused product will last indefinitely if kept in a dark, cool and dry place like a bedroom or linen closet instead of inside a bathroom cabinet.

If your order just arrived and they are a bit soft, let them stand at room temperature for about an hour so that they can go back to normal. They do not have any unnecessary additives therefore the soaps are a bit softer than store bought bars. This does not affect their performance and can be used right away.

Keep soaps away from standing water so they last longer. Once unwrapped, glycerine soap can “sweat”, this is the glycerine attracting moisture to itself (which is one of the reasons our soaps are wonderful for the skin) and it does not affect the usability or quality of the product. Store unopened items in a dark, cool and dry place, like a bedroom closet.
